December 2008's topic is "_________ is Christmas."

When asked to describe the Apollo Theater, Stevie Wonder responded with one word: "Christmas".  Such a simple response, yet it says so much.  Think of the feelings and memories such a simple word evokes in the listener.  The warmth.   The love.  The joy.  The friendship.

The goal for this month is to find something in your life NOT NORMALLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOLIDAY SEASON, but it brings to the surface the same feeling of "Christmas" in you.  Maybe you find that feeling in your work.  Maybe it's in cooking dinner for your family?  Maybe its a hobby or a memory or a game?  Find something that makes you feel that way and tell us about it in an essay.
